CONTRACTED PRICES FOR GOODS AND SERVICES
Effective September 2, 2006

At time of need, your executor, family or administrator calls the Society's office which makes a referral to one or more funeral homes. Designated funeral homes and prices may vary from time to time. Please check back here for the latest information.

Arrangements can be made in your choice of funeral home, or the funeral director can come to your home. Yates Funeral Services will come by boat or airplane if necessary!

Your contract with the funeral home will consist of several parts. To view the costs of each, please click on the link:

• Prices & Services: paperwork, transfer and preparation of body including:
  washing, dressing, and/or embalming; and/or cremation;
   
• Disposition: burial, scattering, receiving ashes, etc.

Out of pocket expenses for organist, clergy, obituary, etc. are at additional cost. All prices indicated for goods and services became effective on or after September 2, 2006.

It is important that you know that the Memorial Society of British Columbia receives no revenues in any form from sales of goods and services to you. Our only revenues come from Membership and Records Fees. Being membership based and volunteer driven, members have better service and protection.

The Memorial Society recommends planning before need and ensuring that your Arrangements Form is on file with the Memorial Society.
